Tarot versus Astrology

New clients, who have never before had a tarot or an astrology reading, often ask what the difference is between the two modalities.

What is tarot?

The oldest known tarot deck is the Visconti-Sforza Tarot designed in Italy circa 1425 C.E. 

Tarot cards do not predict the future. 

A tarot reading is a tool for spiritual guidance and enables you to connect to your inner wisdom by helping you gain clarity about a particular situation.

Tarot reading often incorporates intuition and at least one of the four "clairs": 

• Clairaudience (hearing voices)
• Clairvoyance (seeing images)
• Clairsentience (recognizing feelings)
• Claircognizance (knowing)

I'm strongest in clairsentience and claircognizance. Tarot is my favourite modality.

What is astrology?

 The oldest known astrology board was discovered in Croatia, in a cave overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Dating back more than 2,000 years, the surviving portion of the board consists of 30 ivory fragments engraved with signs of the zodiac. 

Astrology is the study of the patterns in your birth chart, providing deeper knowledge and insight about yourself that empowers you to make more informed life choices.

Reading an astrology chart requires the ability to analyse and interpret the patterns formed by  the placements in the birth chart.

I use a combination of evolutionary, psychological and past life astrology in my readings.
