All my DVD reviews will be posted on Amazon.com.
In the sidebar to the right, you'll see a widget that shows the books I've recently read. Scroll over a cover, click the link and you'll be taken to the relevant Goodreads page.
The only concern I have is that some of the self-pubbed books, particularly those published in e-book only, do need more attention paid to formating and typing errors. But the loss of technical perfection is more than made up for by the vivid imaginations and wide array of interesting perspectives.
Click on each link below to read my reviews on some recently self-published books:
The Brevity of Roses by Linda Cassidy Lewis (5*)
The Wild Grass and Other Stories by Davin Malarsan (5*)
Cinders by Michelle Argylle Davidson (4*)
Grief's Bounty by Sandy Goulding (4*)
The Bear with Two Shadows by Roland D Yeomans (4*)
Not only will my book reviews be migrating, but I will be too. I'm going back to the basics of what being an author is all about: writing and reading. I'll still be hanging around the blog-o-sphere, updating my blog and visiting blogging friends, but you'll mainly find me hanging out at Goodreads and LibraryThing. I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

Here is one succinct review. I am 3/4 through your book and it is amazing!
I don't want you to think I am just saying this to be nice but I think it could win a First Book award. It is one of the better books I have read and I read a LOT. I should likely finish it tonight or tomorrow. It is not a book that I want to rush because there is so much to it and I don't want to miss a thing. Of course, the beauty of reading is you can start all over again!
Hi Judy .. I signed in to Library Thing and now guess I should join GoodReads .. even as a reader.
Interesting the way you're 'moving on' .. while still maintaining an interest in the blogosphere.
Birdie's comment is great .. and I'm sure Dancing in the Shadows of Love is destined for a great deal of recognition.
Good to see you back .. and do hope all is well with your father .. have a good week - Hilary
Thanks for the connect to Library Thing. Looks good. Will see you round the campus.
BIRDIE: Now that's the kind of review I like...short and very very sweet! :) So glad you're enjoying my story!
HILARY: Thanks for all your care and concern with my Dad - hope your Mum is doing well and fully recovered too. Must still answer your email! Will get there eventually!! :)
LAURA: Great to see you here. And will definitely see you around.
Am I ready to join another site? I'll have to think about it. I am so hoping I manage to get a copy of your book. In the mean time, I'll "see" you around.
Good that you are open-minded about self-published books. I use Goodreads from time to time but I still prefer blogging, because of the multimedia format.

Hi Judy,
I'm with Birdie, your book is simply awesome, and I also read a lot!
I'm also on Goodreads and LibraryThing, Shelfari. Looking forward to getting connected there as well!
Well looking forward to connect if ever you come to my country or I visit yours!
Saw the below photos of your dad, so glad he is home and feeling a bit better. Take care of him and cherish him.
I just got an Goodreads account too. Not quite familiar with the site yet, but working on it >:)
Cold As Heaven
BISH: I'm now on so many sites I keep forgetting which site I'm on! :O
ENID: I'm all for self-publishing, as long as we, as independent authors, hold ourselves to a very high standard. :)
NAS: Thanks for kind words about my book and my Dad! :) We're so glad he's home with us!
COLD: Goodreads is a great site - so many books...so little time. I keep on reading reviews poepl post and adding books. One advantage is that my TBR pile on Goodreads doesn't threaten to fall on me!! :)
You are everywhere!
I'm still doing book reviews on my own blog, but not on a regular basis. After I post them there, I put them on Amazon, GoodReads, Barnes & Noble, Shelfari and I may start putting them on Powells. I figure each place is one more place readers can find them.
Helen: I'm in too many places! Really need to cut down, so I'll ignore the tempting call of Powells...:)
